Blog 11, Shame....
The sand on the beach when I got there was torn up like there had been a strugle here un like on a regular beach where the sand is not moved by any thing but the water miving it into the water and out in to the ocean. I saw rustling in bushed ahead of me and pulled out my pistol becuase by the looks of the sand there was some form of humanoid presence on the island. I could hear a strange ululation and saw some thick smoke of in the distance so obviuosly I was dealing with other human beings. A boy about the age of 13 jumped out the bushes I asked him if they had been having a war or somthing and he just planly answred kind of. I really wanted him to elaborte but I needed to get more vital inforamtion about what was happening concering other things on the isalnd. I asked him how many of you are there? Who's in charge rgiht now? Now there where many boys not a lot of them but about 10 of them at the scene. After I asked the only boy to step was the one that I saw to begin with. He looked shamed but was willing to cooparte none the less. The disapintment I felt then was enough to heave a mountain had it been force. Another 1 of the boys was looking like he was going to step up but his jaw droped and just cowered behind the rest of the boys. I could only vizulaize what had happened on the island at that point I really had not time to wonder about what happened we had to get bakc to the boat. I heard whistling sounds in the back ground and gun fire from the machine gun. At that point I realized the irony in all this. I had felt disapointed in thrse boys when every siolder should disapionted in themselves for every life they have tooken when they comited a small fraction of what I have done. The creulty the human race can inflect on its self is incredible.......
